Show me your compact pedalboard setup

Been waiting for the Beat Buddy to arrive to fill the gaps in the board. Home made MDF affair, a Maxon CP101 compressor hiding at the back under the shelf. [Invalid or Expired Link Removed]

Fuzz: Mooer Fog or [SFX] Micro Fuzz?

I have a Mooer Fog - build quality was rubbbish, added noise to my signal chain and I wasn't that impressed with the tone - I don't think it's actually that close to a Mammoth which is what it is supposedly based on. Will get rid of it when i get round to it. Agree with MikroKev that Prymaxe...

    MY BEAT BUDDY IS HERE!

Downloaded and installed... looks good but, My BB is not yet here so I cannot import content. The drum kits don't seem to be included in the bundle download (despite the comments in the Readme file i found in \BBWorkspace\default_lib\drum_sets) I was keen to get some custom content sorted...

Micro / mini bass guitar compressor pedal

I recently asked the same question :) I found for 1590A size the Fairfield and Xotic tend to be peoples top picks but, for me the Xotic is expensive and fairfield difficult to get hold of here in the UK. I ended up with a Maxon CP-101 that I got used on eBay, it's MXR micro/EHX Nano sized and...

What should I know before I'm ready to jam?

I've just started to play/jam with some other musicians. We hire out a rehersal studio nearby (it's dirt cheap to get one of the small rooms for 3 hours) and i have to say it is immense fun. I've come to the bass quite late in life (mid 30's) and the guys I play with have all been playing...

    Something Heavier ?

we're a few guys that get together every so often and play a few songs, mainly modern rock stuff, chili's, foo's etc. but we're looking for something a bit heavier to play ... any recommendations? nothing too technically difficult for the guitar or bass parts ahd perhaps something fro m 90's...

Sept-14: What Bass Lines Can't You Stop Playing this Month

A bass publication I regularly read have a monthly feature, the bass line they can't stop playing that month. I find it a great way of finding bass lines for songs and genres I may never usually listen too. I was curious to find out from my fellow TBer's what bass lines it is you just can't...

Worlds First Drum Machine in Pedal Form!

With you, I was using the midi drum editor but had to use a VST to hear the play back and export to mp3. I downloaded the demo's of the software I mentioned and had more of a play with Cubase so I'm getting more comfortable and a better understanding now.

Worlds First Drum Machine in Pedal Form!

I'm also looking for some good midi drum software too. I'm pretty new to this but for me sequencing my own drum patterns is how to unlock the full potential of the BB. Currently I'm using a mix of Cubase 7 Elements and Izoptope's iDrum and exporting the audio to MP3 to use as backing beats...

Worlds First Drum Machine in Pedal Form!

IMO this is one of the best threads on talkbass. OK there are a few contributions that have been less valuable than others but in the absence of an official BB forum this thread is covering every topic of the BB I'm interested in.. - I originally found out about the BB here - I've learnt loads...

    Tiny pedals (1590A pedals)

any recommendations on a micro-sized compressor? I didn't want to spend as much as the Xotic SP. Any thoughts on the following for bass? - mooer yellow comp - fender micro compressor (is this just a rebranded mooer yellow comp?) - red witch grace compressor - malekko omicron compressor
