Ahhhh the bomber, most useless effect ever!

I am still at the stage of owning a new multi effect where you go trough the craziest stuff and laugh how utterly mad and useless they are. Usually lasts several days before one can start to really use it for the more useful stuff.

If I had to reduce to the smallest board that I could be happy with, your setup would do it but I would add the MXR compressor. Nice setup!

I like the Thunderball too, doesn't get much love here though.

we're all looking for different things. I just wanted to add some warmth to my LM250 and it does this brilliantly.
I wanted a simple comp just to even out the volume over the 4 strings, the yellow comp does this for me. If I start gigging again I'll use my ME50B but for now I like the Mooer. Plus, they're cute hehe

My 1st board. Modded a small old metal suitcase. Chorus has to be replaced with something better (or perhaps just leave it out). A compressor would be nice, but then i need a new case. And then its not so compact anymore... Gas, gas, gas.

That is nice. I toyed a long time about those Mooers when I started my pedalboard updating project. Took another direction in the end, but I do like those too. I might do a second board with Mooers. Two boards are better than one, yes?

Latest compact setup. Maximizing space on PT Nano.

PT Mini with a 1 Spot. I usually use this pedalboard for home demo recording and tone experiments. I was using this setup for some blending experiments with this one knob fuzz. Tuner > EBS Multidrive > LS-2. Line A left open for "clean blend" and the graphic EQ running into Dunwich Cthulhu Fuzz (high gain modified Fuzz Face style pedal). It's not the bass specific Boss EQ, just thew it in there to dial down the input gain a bit, cut a little of the very high end and give it a little mid bump.

The last set of demos I did was for my new Carvin PB4, with a variety of my current favorite dirt pedals.

I'm all about maximizing that space. Board size about pt jr (slightly less wide but slightly taller). Hosa pancake cables saved me a bunch.

Is that the elusive, and possibly illusive, Hotone tuner? Where did you get it? I've looked all over H.K. (where Hotone is based; and never answered my email to 'em) and can't find it, though I've found other Hotone pedals. Rahrargh! I'm jealous.

Does it work well, is it speedy, can you see it well enough on the floor whilst you're standing... ???

Hi, man, sorry I didn't reply - I forgot the thread

I just bought in on eBay - free world wide shipping. It's very snappy and visible, but it's not too easy to use. It's quite accurate, but since it doesn't have strobes it's sort of "a little too low..... a little too low.... a little too low.... A LITTLE TOO HIGH" when you're tuning I've gotten used to it, though.

I've got a Turbo Tuner now, so I'm sorted. Would be amazing if Sonic Research were able to cram a Turbo into a 1590a size. When I opened up my Turbo, I realised a 1590a would be highly unlikely.

Just assembled this small board, using a Gator GPB-LAK1 and Voodoo Lab PP2P...a nice design pairing, imo. Also, the Shure wireless pedal has a built-in tuner (and my Class D amp has an on-board compressor)...
