so i got a df-2 for free because my brother gave it to me, would this work for bass? i dont have an extra cord and so i havent tried it.

are the rockbass strings good for beginers? should i replace them?

i just got a warwick rockbass and the distance from the strings to the fretboard is pretty far (like a 1/4 inch at the highest frets) and i dont like it that way. Would i be able to adjust it to the way i want by myslef or should i take it to a music store and have them set it up?

im looking at getting a new bass and I LOVE METALLICA AND CLIFF BURTON AND METAL. has anyone played one of these new aria's? whats the tone like? is one pickup enough?

rickenbackers... great basses but they cost WAY too much IMO atleast.
