Anybody tried a tascam or other brand? It is supposed to slow down recording while keeping the pitch. Would like to get one, but have doubts about getting my cassette recordings transfered to mp3 format. Any advice would be appreciated.

Am contemplating replacing neck because of truss rod allen nut turned to powder. Does anybody know if any thing major would hinder this? Neck plate screws are 1-1/2" apart and 2" apart vertically. New bridge needed and widening of the mounting slot at the body. Is this commonly done, or am I...

Thanks for the input. Turned on radio, without listening to the bass part, was able to ad lib some good climbs to the three main chords of "Fortunate Son" by CCR. Guess the trick is to find the tunes condusive to the desired technique.

The missing link for me is the aggressive climb. Have bought many books, none have helped. Any recommendation would be greatly appreciated.

Found an old E string that seems to be the answer to tone problem. It has light purple trim at both ends and has a very smooth feel. Any help determining the brand would be greatly appreciated.
