Did you pay with a credit card? You could have done a chargeback on the basis of the bass being defective/not as described. I would have threatened that on the hopes that the seller would do the right thing, and then would have executed on the threat if the seller was uncooperative. Chargebacks...

I have the Micro Thumpinator, and I put it after my Whammy & octave pedal (COG T65), and before my dirt & filters. Works for me.

Oh interesting, so I might not get the sound I'm looking for with Chromes on my Bongo 6. I would have gotten piezo, but they didn't offer that option for Bongo 6, so I got an HS. Now EBMM doesn't offer it on any model bass. My Bongo 5 is HSp, so it has the piezo bridge, but it's fretted. Thanks...

It's funny, I can't find a setting on the crossover that I like either. In theory it's great, because with the LPF on the clean channel, you should be able to blend in clean lows for a nice fuzz tone without losing the bottom end. I could probably get away with swapping my deluxe for a nano too...

I have a ehx deluxe bass big muff and a cog grand tarkin. I like both. The tarkin my favorite, but it was over $150.

MXR M87 Bass Compressor. It's always on, but I use it as a peak limiter (after my octaver, whammy, and envelope filters).

I have a TC polyclip that works just fine with my low B. Sometimes it registers the lower strings (B and E) as the relative fifth, but it tracks the fifth quickly and accurately, so it works fine for tuning.
