Thanks. I think the Gotoh model that fits is called compact but Hipshot seems to be the concensus on what to go with. I guess I will keep the ugly bridge.

Thinking of picking up a mint M7 gen2 4 string natural (swamp ash) for $550. More than fair price IMHO. Question, any find a case for these that accommodates the headstock angle or do you just stick with a bag?

You put flat or round wounds on that?

Holding up great so far. Using Rotosound 88s, 65-135 black nylon tapewound strings. They are tremendous and I highly recommend them. Between the flatwound strings and nylon ribbon they not only sound great but are easy on the fingers and the fingerboard.

Truoil I have is a light amber not yellow. Looks great and still holding up really well.

As the OP yeah my original thought was the EXACT same bass but having a chance to see the collection of other members has been really cool. It doesn't matter if it was the exact same one or a similar one. Thoroughly enjoying all the responses and everyone's take on this. And for the record...
