Help Nailing Down ID of This Hondo

Hello, I was gifted this short scale P by a neighbor who cleaned out their attic. It plays great, but I'm maxed out on instruments, and will be selling it for them. I can't seem to find an exact match for the rounded/pointy headstock shape, logo, tuners, no pickguard, and jack combination...

    Favorite DI for Rickenbacker 4003?

I second this regarding the Aguillar TH. Great preamp pedal and DI for Rics.

Different tone from different wood, really?

A pickup is no different from a microphone in principle. By scratching or tapping it, you're creating a vibration and thus an induced current. Most decent pickups are potted with paraffin or adhesive to prevent this vibration. My apologies if you already knew all this and I misunderstood.
