Never owned a bass that I did not find something I did not like about it.
That said, I have never gassed so hard for one until I saw this...

Gibson is supposed to release them in 12 days. If I like the neck profile it may turn out to be the one.
I had the one (G&L JB) and kept looking. Now I have the 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5. And I play my Road Worn P bass at most gigs so I don't worry about hurting it (also sounds great!).
But really I just wanted to post this picture:

Yeah, but that's exactly the point. If you're in 99th percentile already,
I think I'm glad I'm not your girlfriend/wife.Let me qualify "the one" by defining it as a bass that meets your needs and preferences so well, that finding another that fits you as well is very statistically improbable.
