While I don't own any Eastwood basses I have played a few and I own a few Eastwood guitars and I've always been fond of them. The sound, feel and quality on all the examples I've tried have been top notch.

I had the guitar version in the same colour. It was a really good guitar, it had an interesting push/pull knob that split the humbucker into single coil. I unfortunately had to sell it and I've regretted it since, the Vista series was really brilliantly made.

I own a Fender but my main bass is a Danelectro. So no I don't care much for brands, it just so happens that I prefer the feel and sound of the Danelectro over the Fender. If it works for you who cares what company made it?

He actually played a Danelectro Hodad and currently mostly plays Danelectro DC basses. Just like me!

I use a Danelectro DC Bass and the guitarist uses a Telecaster with a dimarzio single-coil sized humbucker in the bridge.

Reading his about me on his youtube channel which he seems to have filled with his life story he doesn't make any mention of being in any kind of armed forces, you'd think that would be something he'd put in there. I'm pretty certain he just made that up to get sympathy.

I think it just looks kinda like him from the side, when it cuts to the bass player from straight on it doesn't look much like him at all in my opinion.

I'm pretty certain that a previous bass player for Weezer used a Ripper in the video for the song "Hash Pipe"

There's nothing wrong with Glasgow. It's fine, unless you intend on wandering the streets at night, which isn't advised anywhere in the world if you don't know the area in my experience.

I bought a "Cyclone by EKS technology" les paul style guitar when I was travelling in New Zealand a number of years back, it was pretty bad and just barely playable. It seems like there were a lot of guitars under that name, I've seen pictures of stratocaster style guitars as well as jazz bass...

I agree with this 100% Plus I had a listen to them on Youtube and Michael Cera isn't a bad bassist, he sounded alright to me. I mean he's not spectacular or anything but he does the job just fine. I dont see what all the fuss is about.
