My two main basses these days are both EBMM Stingray 5H's...only difference is the color and rosewood vs maple...they sound virtually identical and are set up the same....if I need a backup on stage, I don't want to worry about anything changing...that and the fact that I simply love the sound....

don't own a "Fender" and never care to again...not Music Man ad G&L on the other hand....

the last number in trace elliot nomenclature is the ohm rating on the cabinet...will always be an 8 or a 4...i run the same era 15 as my bottom cabinet with a 1048H...never have any issues with power..also remember that TE ratings are RMS...max wattage is usually double the RMS rating.

If memory serves...1028H and a 1518...both are 8 ohm cabinets...power rating should be 300 watts per cabinet RMS and they sound great....have owned both of those cabs before...
