This thread is amazing, but you guys are killing me! I'm filling my bass pr0n folder with nothing but 'Rays, but then again, how can I complain? :p I almost got a StingRay as my first big time bass around two years ago, but ended up with a Fender J instead. I'm REALLY itching for a 'Ray now...

Those basses are unbelievable. :eek: If you don't drive the car often, I say you can't go wrong with the basses. And maybe if you've got money left over, you can save that for something else you might be in need of later, bass related or otherwise. Good luck! :D

Wow. I'm just imagining all of the history on that thing. All of the notes played on the frets, the different owners, different ways its been played. That bass is very possibly one of the ultimate mojo machines. :cool:

I think that you should definitely take the drive to play the Highway One. A good bass is definitely worth the trip, especially if you're planning on using it as your main axe. :bassist: I can definitely say, you're better off maybe throwing some time away then going through your career...
