I am most definitely going to go with medium gauge DR Highbeams for my Ibanez ATK. I was looking them up and I was wondering do I get short scale or extra long scale for my ATK or it doesn't matter? Thanks in advance.

Thanks a lot. I am going to put some dr hi beams on them. I don't know how long they should be though. So I know there is through the body; but the other way to string is through the neck right? Correct me if I am wrong. And what type of sound do you get from that?

Ok..thanks...I am just trying to get a good slap tone. That is all. One more thing...I do down tune the E string to to B or C sometimes. Would the light gauge be effected by that or should I just go with the medium guage?
