    G&L Club Part 7

I'm sure a #12 is great, as I've got a #6 and a #7 that I switch between constantly with ease. After playing with a vintage radius, I think a 1 5/8 with the 7 1/2 radius would be heavenly.

Solid Gold FX Beta drive? Anyone playing one?

Alright so who can give the Beta an honest comparison to a pork loin? Someone who's used both extensively - from what I've read they seem to fit a very similar application

Hey those here that have G&L guitars, which ones do you have and why'd you choose it/them?

PYPB 44: ...like Tetris with boxes, wires and cables

The paint job reminds me of McDonald's fries haha. They had a limited edition black and blue one a while back that looked badass. I like the pedal, there's lots of options with it. The right switch is a bass boost when set left, awesome. As for the tone, it's a real squarewave - buzzsaw...

I always love these threads but haven't participated until now. Here a quick a dirty shot of my current board. I need some flatter patches.

nshuman, I guess I'm directing this a bit towards you, but you're not the only one that puts it in the front. Does your board serve double duty for keys? If not, do you feel like you hear a difference with it at the beginning? What would it take to convince you to move it elsewhere on your...

PYPB 44: ...like Tetris with boxes, wires and cables

Sorry, I meant -most- basses don't put out sub-30hz :D I mean if nearly all bass note fundamentals are above 30hz, I'm lead to believe people spend money on things they don't quite understand. I'm taking specifically about those placing it at the beginning. Sure you can put it anywhere, that...

No that's where you're wrong, as subcontent could still make it to the amp if you use effects that create it after the thump. That's my point. Your bass isn't putting out sub 30hz freqs

PYPB 44: ...like Tetris with boxes, wires and cables

Honest question guys - why put a microthumpinator at the beginning of you chain? It seems like a waste of nearly 2 bills. I completely understand the use for it at the end, or maybe after an octaver to pass usable signal to other touchy pedals, but the beginning? Are you playing in a drop...

    G&L Club Part 7

Oh no disrespect to this thread. The only reason I saw your post is because I'm subscribed. I have a Schecter C-4 and the two things I don't like about it are the huge truss rod cavity (I think the board just lays on top an open channel) and the neck binding that's a hair too sharp. I need to...
