Carvin basses are quite nice to play, and sound great, but I think their template designers need a little more inspiration or influence. It just seems that almost all of their body/headstocks just somehow lack some balance or something.

These things look like the product of a drunken one-night stand between an Ibanez and a Schecter. I really liked the SB5000, but this looks like Carvin said, "OK, enough cool stuff, back to the 90s."

Many/most of Carvin's 5's have been 19mm for years: BB, SB, S25, B50, PB5, all 19mm.
It just doesn't stop does it Jarett?
I'll admit I'm relatively new to Talkbass, but I'm quickly getting the impression that critics are just simply unwelcome, or just not considered part of the club. Am I right?
