I don't see either. I sold my hx stomp, tested the anagram for more than a month. I switched back to real pedals and added the hx one. I'm fulfilled. The anagram seemed fragile to me and NAM files are a pain to use.... than the routine part which is interesting but for 1080€, fashion effect.

For compression. Surprisingly the sound engineer during my last live show told me "that I had a very compressed sound". With an input of 8 on the luminal...and I can hear compression. No placebo effect.

For the compressor, I have to push the input to 7 or 8 to hear the compression. I don't use the Anagram compressor as a classic pedal...well on the one hand I'm not a fan of compression...
