Khaya is definetely a real Mahogany, and definetely not Black Limba... In the Khaya family alone there are 7 species. If I recall correctly there are over 500 species in the entire mahogany family. having worked with literally thousands of feet of Sapele, Sipo, Honduran and Khaya in the window...

yeah indeed, Padauk and Cocobolo can be problematic, you absolutely wanna clean that Padauk with Acetone prior to glueup. Wipe it numerous times !

With a wooden bridge, what I like to do is ground only one string, basically pull a wire out through the string ferrules (if its a string-through-body) and use a metal nut. All strings become grounded.
