Careful with the adjustments tho, if you set the pick ups too close you'll start getting all sorts of problems. Has your bass ever recieved a proper set up ?

If you liked the SR feel but didn't dig the sound, ill recommend you try something off their SRX line, I got my SRX500 for 150$ used on craigslist, has all the nice SR feel with a very punchy mid sound, not scooped at all.
