You could find a used bass combo amp on Craigslist for much less and would better fit your needs. I found an old Fender Rumble 15 cheap. It has a great bass sound, not like other cheap amps. And you can run your phone through the RCA jacks for music to practice to.

Holy crap that is a lot of stuff. Do you actually carry all that to a gig?

When gigging 4-10 times a month I would change my Rotosounds monthly. I did gigs on the beach and strings look like the original post after a month.

Used my new mini rig last Saturday. Hartke 112b, TC Electronic BAM200, and my newly refinished Peavey Frankenbass. We had FOH sound and it was loud enough for my three piece Classic Rock, 80's, 90's trio.

So I have been busy with work so there is slow progress. The finish was too rough so I had to wet sand it back a LOT. I am torn. Should I move on as is and re-apply the clear coats or try to paint another few coats of green? It looks good enough for rock and roll to be honest.

I agree. Put a 1x12 rig next to it and the size difference is minimal. And if you are not gigging, no need to spend more money.

I got the 112b, still waiting for my amp. I went with the bam200 instead of the bq250. The cab worked well in a mid sized venue with FOH. It is not nearly as punchy as my GK212 Neo.

Oooh I love it! Love that style of maple neck and headstock. And the meaty bridge!
