Stage. 100% worth it though!

I've been using the stage IEMs for a couple years now. Of all my gear, they are the one thing I am 100% satisfied with. The sound is flawless, and they fit like a dream. I tried the dynamic but they didn't have enough headroom for me in a live mix. Stage though - just perfect.

Here's a pic from when I had first gotten my MXR Bass Synth in. I was a bit skeptical at first, but I have managed a nice sub bass synth sound from it that is useful for a lot of songs. I'm still dialing in my "Bass MicroSynth"-y sound - haven't had many use cases for it lately. Realistically...

To play devil's advocate, they would also tell you that in a live mix for a Sunday stream, the difference would not be perceptible to most ears. The mix, EQ, and compression from the board are going to make the biggest difference. For recording studio tracks, the difference between a digital...

This is the exact same line of reasoning that led me to selling my MicroSynth as well. Hope you enjoy the MXR Bass Synth!

Very interested to hear your thoughts on it. I sold my EHX MicroSynth awhile ago and this looks like a perfect and more versatile replacement which isn't glued to one specific niche. Also more friendly for my small board ;P

This is why I sold my EHX Bass MicroSynth! I can get a pretty faithful recreation of the microsynth sound with my Stomp. I admire the pedal, but in the context of worship it feels overused.

I totally agree - I think there is an importance in growing the team's abilities in the fundamental areas first before moving on. The needs of each team varies - many people in our team struggle greatly with timing and dynamics. Sometimes our church tries to do crazy show-y songs like Overflow...

Yeah, these guys are so much tighter than any church will ever be. I think that makes a big difference when using tracks. You are enhancing what is already a very solid foundation, instead of relying on it to produce the majority of your sound.
