Ampeg ba115 vs Fender Rumble 100

While the BA115 may be the better amp. I have gigged with the Rumble 100 with two guitarists, and it cut through just fine :D Plus, the lights on the Rumble are SAWEET.

    Something I've been wondering.

When bands play HUGE shows (like Download Festival or Warped Tour) I see Tons of Speakers for the Band and I was wondering, do they really use all the speakers or are they just there for show? I think that using all those speakers would make the sound muddy. Of course I could be totally wrong :)

Ampeg ba115 vs Fender Rumble 100

I've heard nothing but good things from both but isn't the AMPEG like 200$ more...?

    OLP MM2 and MM22 bad?

Hey all, Are these models particularly bad? I'm looking for a second bass and I've always wanted a MusicMan but those things GOD expensive so I wanted some opinions on them. Are they better than Squiers? Thanks!

    First Gig rig?

Well right now, I have a little microbass Peavey which works for practice but I'm going upgrade to the Acoustic B100 or B200 for practice and possibly for little gigs. As far as income....probably around 300-400$ with rent aside. My birthday is coming soon though lol :D

    First Gig rig?

Eventually, I wanna upgrade from combo amps to Head/cabs. What would you guys recommend? I don't plan on playing in any huge venues yet, so just something to break through 2 guitarists and a somewhat loud drummer. I've heard about the GK Brat Pack Half Stack but I wanted to get some pro opinions. :)

    Quick Question

I've been looking at Acoustic B100 since it's a little cheaper and it's in stock in the GC i'm near. But yeah, the Acoustic Brand seems very reliable.

    Quick Question

Yeah I was planning on doing that in the near future, but after doing some reading here, I see that having a 15" speaker will do trick in a lot of situations. Is it possible to use my little combo as a head? I have an old Peavey Microbass.

    Acoustic B100, B200

Do you think the B100 could hold its own in a small gig like a grad party or something?

    Quick Question

Yeah, I was thinking about the Fender Rumble 100 or something of that sort.

    Quick Question

Hi all, My brother is having his grad party on the 6th and he would like my band to play at my house. I use a little Peavey combo for practice and such, but I'm pretty sure when we play, I'll be drowned out. What amps do would you guys use for a grad party? We'll probably be playing in the...
