In case any of you wanted or have been waiting for a Bergantino NV610T

With all this talk of berg 610 around here you’d think this thread would be fuming. Weird. One year ago I definitely would have ordered. Got another brand 610 now.

Should I buy this brand new Ampeg 8x10???

Based on what I hear from you, just wanting that oldschool 810 vibe, you should definitely get it. I promise you will love it. I can relate so much to what you’re saying. Here’s mine.

Should I buy this brand new Ampeg 8x10???

Buy it, just so you know how it feels. You can always easily sell later on. I had the same feeling as you, and now there’s an 810 in my bedroom. I’m glad I pulled the trigger and would have regretted it if I had saw it gone.

    Downsizing my monster rig

The Barefaced sound nothing like the Ampegs. They are ported and have tons of lows, which is a totally different feel. They are not bad cabs, but I definitely had some issues with booming notes inherent to the cab design. Barefaced seems most loved for their smaller cabs. The rest of this...

Talk me out of this rackmount power strip (NOT a 'recommend a power conditioner' thread)

I did the same thing two years ago. Bought a rack, power strip and drawer for pedals. it was heavy, ugly and inconvenient so I sold it all. Now I use a small pedalboard instead.

Mesa Subway cabs vs Ampeg Neo Cabs

I’m throwing my bet with the rest, it seems like the 112 shines in combination with the other subway 210 or 115. They are made to be paired (quote from @agedhorse) For standalone the 115 seems to be blowing people away left and right.

    I think I’m a weirdo

Actually I'd think you're the normal one, most people play bass that way nowadays. Mind you you're on a forum of gear-junkie GASheads. That being said... ONE OF US... ONE OF US... ONE OF US...

    Mesa Powerhouse vs Subway cabs

Yeah, they definitely were traditionals. I was talking about the standard/vintage models.

Mesa Diesel 115: weird with overdrive

Hey, Sounds to me like something is wrong with the speaker. I wouldn't touch it too much since this is how I blew up my amp. Wait until some more tech savvy people reply here :) Cheers

Mesa WD800 The Ultimate Loud Portable Practice Amp!

Late to the party, but did you just say 2 412's? Like... you tried one and went like, this ain't loud enough son, I can barely hear that. Kidding aside, I'm glad you like it and I agree with the awesomeness that is Mesa. Golden goose is a great way to describe that other and it's great to see...
