Based on what I hear from you, just wanting that oldschool 810 vibe, you should definitely get it. I promise you will love it. I can relate so much to what you’re saying. Here’s mine.

Buy it, just so you know how it feels. You can always easily sell later on. I had the same feeling as you, and now there’s an 810 in my bedroom. I’m glad I pulled the trigger and would have regretted it if I had saw it gone.

The Barefaced sound nothing like the Ampegs. They are ported and have tons of lows, which is a totally different feel. They are not bad cabs, but I definitely had some issues with booming notes inherent to the cab design. Barefaced seems most loved for their smaller cabs. The rest of this...

I did the same thing two years ago. Bought a rack, power strip and drawer for pedals. it was heavy, ugly and inconvenient so I sold it all. Now I use a small pedalboard instead.
