hey man. Yeah, I'm into punk stuff. I probably would have made an identical post if I had this board when I was 16. I started playing bass by figuring out and playing along with (mostly) rancid and opivy records. I'm 24 now, still playing in a punk band called static radio, from new jersey.

in my case at all times I keep an anvil, a dead squirrel and a copy of wolfenstein 3D on zipdisk. I also carry the bass separately outside of the case.

It sounds like the majority of people say that this bass is good for a deep tone with not much to it in terms of sticking out from a full rock style band, unless modded a bit. Whether that is "good" or "bad" I don't know. Is that basically the long and the short of it?

that's a nice looking bass. Does anyone know what kind of sound comes out of a G6073 Electrotone bass?

I just recorded with a grabber that has been repaired in the same exact spot, go figure.. The thing would NOT stay in tune. I had to tune way too often, even for recording. Forget about playing it live if you don't want to tune in between every song.
