My (first order) Corto2 has been shipped... waiting for it later next week, so I'm good for now.

It looks like our 2 basses (C424, H094) are still matching step-for-step through Scott's workshop. And coming soon to the finish line. :-)

Wow... C407 and C413 haven't left the shop yet, but C412 is already listed on Reverb.

We've got a race on... :-) (I think you'll win) My (very first) build is the walnut and maple Corto2 (C 424).

At least you're on the build page... I think there are about 10 more Cortos that have to be added to the build page (much less be built) before mine gets there.

I hope Scott gets to work on some of those Cortos, too. I've had #424 (Corto 2) on the books since last summer, but #412 has been the highest number Corto in the builds the whole time.

Obviously, I don't know all the fine points of all the models. I see now that the Corto2 PUs are lower. But it should do for me for now.

Has anyone ever tried EB Cobalt strings on the Corto2 style instruments? I got too impatient waiting until sometime next year for my first Birdsong, so FedEx has my first (used) one somewhere across the middle of the country right now. Sometime next week I'll have a 2019 Corto2 to start...

A couple questions... I've almost made it through 150+ pages of this thread (and pt. 1) and I haven't seen that much mention of the Corto 2. Is it just getting lumped into the general "Corto" category, or is it so cool that everyone who has one is off playing it and not spending time on TB...

I just put myself in the queue for a Corto2 (#424), walnut body, maple fingerboard and black h/w. But it'll be 2021 sometime, so the hard waiting part starts now.
