Where would you put the battery? Or is the control cavity big enough?
Varitone circuit... anyone here knows the capacitance/resistance of the different positions? I seem to have a couple favorite positions (who doesn't? Puns welcome , but what is going on from a less subjective perspective?
There's a special version of Scott's Shortbass available in his inventory. I'm sure it won't be around for long.
Saw that. I have a 5 string coming soon and another four string build that should have the same pickup arrangement as this shortbass.
I'm going to get round wound strings on it so I can give slapping a go! I'm glad to see the bridge humbucker will leave plenty of space for slapping and popping.
Body blank glued up for my SD Curlee Standard 78
A couple more pics - body cut out - it's a lefty. I like the grain
It's going to look amazing once the oil gets added!
Love that Scott does lefties at no extra charge.
Yes it's walnut. I love his lefty policy also
Nice. I'm still dreaming about a walnut fusion.
I've got one!
It's a fretless and the whole thing is blackwashed.
My Alder five string is almost finished!
A couple of new picks from the builds page:
Very nice. I nabbed the Corto from inventory so I'm looking forward to enjoying one of these in a month or so.
I’m unfortunately having to sell my 1/2 year old shortbass gt. If anybody is looking for a quick acquisition, hit me up.
We've got a race on... (I think you'll win)
My (very first) build is the walnut and maple Corto2 (C 424).
Cool! Would you like a club member number?
I think I should wait to receive it and post a picture. Gotta touch it first!
Not in this club. If you've placed the order for a Birdsong/Shortbass/SD Curlee and want a number, you get it.
If you'd like to wait, no worries. Just remind me when the bass arrives that you need your number.
And one way or another, welcome to the family!
Very kind of you.
