i play my Birdsong Fusion through the same pairing, when out and about (pre-COVID). On smaller gigs I played through a Barefaced One10 + Quilter BB800.
At home for the past year, I play through the One10 with the Quilter Interbass 45, which is truly a marvelous combination!
I’m also using a quilter bb800 for everything. Playing out, I use a markbass nyc121 cab. At home and for super small gigs, I use a Gene-Benz shuttle8t cab. It was part of a shuttle 3 combo. The local shop sold the head out of the combo and left the cab with the mounting brackets. I removed the brackets and a friend required it with a speakon jack for me.
My backup head is an Aguilar TH500 I haven’t plugged in for at least 4 or 5 years.

I have TI Jazz flats on my fretted Fusion, and TI Jazz rounds on my fretless Fusion. Now and then I toy with the idea of putting sunbeams on the fretless, but I’m pretty happy with the Jazz rounds at the moment. One day...
As someone said: stock rounds are Curt Mangan Fusion nickel rounds 45-105. I love them. I put on most of my other basses cause I love the feel and sound. And price
I'd be happy to try those. I don't have a birdsong or SS yet and I typically go lighter on longscale.
New pic of my five string. Honestly I'm not crazy about the streak of lighter wood down the middle. Might just have to deal with it though, just will take some getting used to. We'll see how it looks with the finish added.

I'll deal with it if that's the case, but I am going to shoot Scott a message to ask and see if we can some sort of finish to maybe hide it a bit like a black wash or rat rod or something.
That's just glue squeeze-out that has been sanded back, no need to worry.
Yup, Scott confirmed this and joked that he knew I would ask when I saw the picture!
I have ordered quite a few from him and always ask for somewhat clean looking wood. I'm not very fancy!

Has anyone swapped out pickups in their Birdsongs? In particular replacing the passive pickups with actives?
