Birdsong Club Pt 2

Ohhhh....thats not a Corto 2, that's why I was confused......that was a nice price, good score. That just has dual humbuckers. My favorite Sadhana has that setup....good choice, I definitely prefer it to the single in the neck. View attachment 3988317
Obviously, I don't know all the fine points of all the models. I see now that the Corto2 PUs are lower. But it should do for me for now.

I was waiting on some brass knobs but we switched plans today to MXR-style knobs. This should be on it's way to me next week. :)

I snagged a shortbass gt a few months ago and I love it. Perfect lil funk machine. Nice bang for the buck.

Yeah I wanted a more aggressive "puts rounds on and play rush" bass to go with my Serek P with flats. I messaged Scott to get his opinion on an SD Curlee on Reverb and he messaged to suggest the GT which he's taking some orders for in spring.

I would say that's a solid decision. Mine shreds. Only real difference in our SBs is that mine is mahogany. It crushes rush licks, but i would recommend a preamp for that for a lil extra juice. It is amazing in the slap/pop realm, which was my original purpose for the purchase. Neck is ridiculously fast and the whole thing is solid af.

Yeah I'll rely on the YYZ pedal to get me the rest of the way. Can you post yours?
