my most expensive bass purchase was a stingray5 like $2000 at that time..but i was gigging making money with that axe..i set a goal like 20-30 gigs should cover it.. maybe she thinks that it's insane cause u dont make money out of that bass? i mean like to cover the cost..if so this is could be...

hahaha this is so true..if Nitti use the singlecut BTB as his signature model maybe it'll be more convincing to spend 7k.. LOL..i think we grew up in the same era..this image of ibanez as a metal bass stick in my mind til now.. and dont forget Paul Gray's (slipknot) ATK...

im playing an indonesian made Nityo 3/4 DB (the luthier passed away last year, God bless his soul).. the neck is maple with rosewod fingerboard..the top body is spruce and the rest is mahogany.. it's not that humid here..i mean i read about double basses fell-apart from humidity but i guess...

try EADGB (like a guitar).. i tuned my 6-strings BEADGB.. the high-B makes it easier for chords playing..u only need one finger G-B (Maj 3rd), D-B (Maj 6th), A-B (Maj 9th), E-B (P 12th), B-B'(oct) just need to practice shifting up a fret when playing melodies :D (which im still practicing)
