A agree with Tdog. After I carve the neck with a rasp, a sureform, and a block plane (similar to the process Wilser uses in his vid) I use a random orbit sander to remove tool marks and get smooth even transitions from the facets left by the hand tools. My sander is a small Ryobi. Very easy to...
