I wouldn't... just put it in a closet and take it out once a month.. leave it for a collector item...

I started out with a 4 string for about 6 months then went to a 5'er I still have a 4 string but my main and acoustic bass are 5... I just feel more comfortable with a 5

Hey all.... I just purchased a Yamaha RBX765A from a friend. The bridge is a little tarnished..... I was wondering what I could use to clean it up? also does anyone know when these were made? Trying to figure out how old this one is :)

it's an old Yamaha RBX170 I have laying around. I stripped the body down to re finish it and the idea popped into my head :)

I was playing around wit the idea of attaching a upright bass bridge to a electric bass body..... it this even possible? and if so what kind of pick-up system do ya think would work??

I play on a praise/worship team at my church.... I always tease my wife and the leader that I am going to come in one day with a Warlock or Gene Simions bass...lol... they all laugh and say "go for it" :)

I have the EWB205WNENT and absolutely love it. The stock strings were bad to me so I went with Elixirs... WOW what a difference. Mine is the 5 string version and they run around 5 to 600. I got mine for a steal at my local shop for $350 used... nothing wrong with it at all :)
