It absolutely matters to me. All of the bands I play with ( one classic rock and soul dance band, two jazz quartets, plus sub gigs) are good sounding bands with good players. There are too many great players and bands in my area too settle for playing crap.

A couple of slow dance tunes that always fill the floor are the Beatles "Oh, Darling" and Eric Clapton's "Wonderful Tonight"..
