Schecter Stiletto Exotic

Picked this PJ-5 SBK Deluxe up used for $135. So far I'm very happy with it at this price. The build quality is great, tone is good, and action is low. What's the consensus on these? I'm pretty impressed so far.

I have a custom Rosser Meteora body that i haven't had the time to finish building... but i think it'll be pretty cool when it's done.

Volume, pickup blend, treble, mids, bass, and a "slap switch" that boosts the EQ for slap bass.

Anyone have any experience with the Stiletto Exotic? (Not to be confused with the Customs, which they look similar to at a glance). They are apparently kinda rare, only made in 2005 i believe. I bought one used and I'm very happy with it. I'm just curious what others think of them and how they...

This is my first Schecter and it was an absolute steal at $450. Bought it used with black LaBella tapewounds (which sounded good) but i changed to roundwounds because i wanted more bite. Very impressed with Schecter.

Just found this group. I got my ehb1505ms about a month ago. I really enjoy this bass. I have a question about the mid frequency sweep though... I understand the boost/cut knob, but what exactly does the frequency sweep do? It really gives a variety of tones, but can someone explain it to me...

Anyone know if the Korean neck is a direct fit to current squier precision bodies, like the Classic Vibe. Thanks

Update! Took awhile but i found a used pickguard, these guards are very hard to find due the odd size of this medium scale bass.

I like the Tort too! These 600 series are pretty sweet and built like tanks. And this Antique White Blonde finish‍mwah! Only complaint is the stack knobs didn't turn independently, they were stuck together. But that was an easy fix.

The stacked knobs turning together is a common problem with this model and at this price point should have definitely been addressed in QC. But it's an easy fix. Overall, I'm pretty happy with this bass though i wish the J pickup was hum cancelling. I haven't had any noticeable neckdive issues...

Well i lucked up and found another telecaster bass, so now i have a pair. Love these things.
