    Other than the Barts and that Gibson one I don't think there is a replacement. Epiphone T-Bird pickups are supposed to be "indestructible" and thus... never need to be replaced. But they weren't thinking about tone when they did that, only functionality.

    Bartolini vs. Basslines

    Personally If i had to, I would try DiMarzio Jazz Pickups, (The set of them). They are very versatile as a jazz and can range from a hotter crunch to a warm mellow, but otherwise id stay with the MEC's. They are like a quarter of the price you pay for a warwick.
