I think the bassline in Love hungry man is quite good. Too bad it's only the case with a couple of songs among so many. Playing roots is boring no matter what genre. It all depends on what the bassplayer decides (or is told) to do :rollno:

What do you think of the Urge I? This is what I have at the moment, I'm loving it so far and it really felt like the one best suited for me when I tried it out, but I haven't heard any advice from other musicians. Also, is there anything radically different from the II besides the drop-d tuner...

My first bass! :D (well actually second. The first one came from the Hartke starter pack so... decent amp, crappy instrument lol) Anyway it's a Fender Urge model, the old one without the drop-D tuner. It was second-hand but still in great shape, pretty good deal overall and I hope it lasts :)...
