Unless i missed something the BBE doesn't have a mute or standby feature on it, so what is everyone doing to combat this issue. Meaning how do you mute it to switch basses, or do you just completly turn your rig off and then back on.

if your running speakon, you only change the end your plugging into the amp to 1+/2+, you run the other end normal.

ya i'm sure that would short something out, cuz in stead of corresponding positive and negative, you running 2 positives to pos/neg so maybe at best the amp would fault out

It's hard to do with these kinds of speakon connectors, you have to get the 4 piece type, the one you have is the 2 piece, the 4 piece the blue base unscrews, the it the locking part slides over the actual input to leave with 4 screws exposed and 2 wires showing, then it's as easy as changing...
