I've been eyeballing at how I'm going to store all my basses. I have a 9 and a 7 rack but obviously that's not enough, doesn't even get to half of what I have.
So I think I'll do a DIY rack as I've seen some interesting ideas that would be usable for me.

That's the first one I saw, easy to make but I think it misses one support to the back of the lower bar.

or like this. I like this one very much but the trouble is you have to use a rather big piece of flat wood to make the sides, and there's a lot of waste doing that.
Great thing about doing this myself is that I can make it as big as I like and it saves a LOT of money. Maybe do two for 22 basses per piece, or even stack them one above the other. That would be space saving. The last design would be very well suited for that as you can put it flush against the wall and thus mount the whole stack fixed to the wall. I have 3m high walls so no problem going up. Maybe if I use 2x4 or something like that for the sides I could make it in a storage rack style.
I'm beginning to get the picture...
