Pseudo Supro for Winter Build Off 2022

I finally got to use some of these neck screws and inserts I bought a long time ago. Best for a premade neck like this. Jigged up my drill press with a screw and nut to hand thread the inserts in.

In short order I had all four screwed into the neck.

And voila neck is mounted.

I used this old black neck plate as it gets hidden when the back is screwed in place.

Sorry for the lack of posts:sorry:. Been busy:cautious:. I am hoping over the next day or two to get a routing template made for the pickups and then I can start real assembly:hyper:. Considering wiring and I am leaning to a series wiring with VVT for the single coils. May consider switching to parallel as well. Another option is series with one volume and separate tone pots for each pickup. That might be interesting.

What does a template guide look like?
Like this. The small plate mounted in the center of the router base plate shown. I have a couple of sizes but this one I use with a 1/4" diameter bit for fine routing. The sleeve extends down below the base plate and the template is cut oversize (3/32" in this case). The guide follows the template and you are left with an accurate route. I have a couple of different lengths 1/4" bits as well so I can go as deep as I need.

I use this with a plexiglass template for truss rod routes as well.
