Okay I've had this fibreglass body for about 15 years with the intention of building a micro scale bass with a Supro demeanor. Got a lot of nice parts to make it look cool so I'll enter it in the WBO to see if I can get it together.

Fiberglass? That's pretty cool, is it just a shell? What's the internal structure like? Do you have to make a block for the inside?
It's just a shell but it came with a set of blocks. Those were too flimsy for my tastes so I made a more substantial one and glued it in some time ago. I haven't done anything else since. I have a set of vintage Kluson bass tuners and a Gretsch like space control bridge. Those and the De Armond pickups should give it the vibe I am looking for.

That's so cool, love the vintage roller bridge too. Definitely following this one, love it when I get to see techniques I haven't seen before!

This is a fantastic plan, I think it's going to look killer.

When I first saw your post, I was like "yes! one more!" Now, as I think about it... you and I so far are the only entries in the Assembly category, and you're The Human CNC.

Did a little mockup to see if I like where this is heading;).

Pretty convincing so far but I'm not sure about Gibsonesque 2+2 controls:cautious:. So I started thinking more curved following the body edge:unsure:.

This is probably the way I'll go but I may have to drop to three (VVT) to make space for an output jack:whistle:. Overall I think it will look convincing:thumbsup:.
