Okay I've had this fibreglass body for about 15 years with the intention of building a micro scale bass with a Supro demeanor. Got a lot of nice parts to make it look cool so I'll enter it in the WBO to see if I can get it together.

Pseudo Supro for Winter Build Off 2022

It's just a shell but it came with a set of blocks. Those were too flimsy for my tastes so I made a more substantial one and glued it in some time ago. I haven't done anything else since. I have a set of vintage Kluson bass tuners and a Gretsch like space control bridge. Those and the De Armond pickups should give it the vibe I am looking for.
That's so cool, love the vintage roller bridge too. Definitely following this one, love it when I get to see techniques I haven't seen before!
Those single coil DeArmonds are nice. I had a purple JetStar, I think it was, with those that I wish I’d kept.

Glued on a white plastic layer with CA and started mapping out the headstock shape.
A couple of minutes on the band saw and we have a Supro shaped headstock
! Now to clean up the edges then drill for the tuners and logo. The logo I have is a metal repro with pins attached so I need to drill two small holes to press it in place

I had to thin the headstock for the Kluson tuners and reprofile. Should be able to pop the holes in now and mount them but I'll wait for the new bushings to arrive just to be sure of the size.
A small update. Been fitting the heel to the body and drilled the holes to mount the Supro logo.
Did a little mockup to see if I like where this is heading.
Pretty convincing so far but I'm not sure about Gibsonesque 2+2 controls. So I started thinking more curved following the body edge.
This is probably the way I'll go but I may have to drop to three (VVT) to make space for an output jack
