I guess it's just the cynic in me but the opinion expressed by a guitar magazine may not necessarily be an unbiased one. One of a guitar magazine's main goals is to sell more advertising. To that end, they may influenced to push the products of the companies that buy their advertising space.

Prog rock gets no respect from most rock journalists. I have a book, Rolling Stone's 500 greatest rock albums. There is not one Moody Blues album in there. There's not one Yes album in there.
