is there any recording software out there that allows you to hook your instrument up to your computer and have effects like fuzz, chorus, etc added to your sound in real time? also, can effects like those be added to your sound after your instrument is recorded?

If I went with the m-audio device, would I need a d.I. box to get a good sound or would hooking up striaght to this give a good sound? Would hooking up my amp to the device be a good way to go?

It seems like it has a lot of good sounds and a lot of cheesy sounds I can imagine using. I was likin the more synthy settings since they sound to have a gated type of fuzz...which I was after too in this pedal. Wish guitar center would carry bass pedals, all they have are guitar ones

Ok, ya I was looking towards the super synth. Do you know if the super synth has a fuzz effect? Id look to be able to have a pedal that has not only keyboard synth tones but also fuzz. I wouldn't be able to just lower the fuzz on the orbit to tone down the fuzz?

wanna point me in the direction of a decent priced one...tryin to stay below $400.
