One of the best live bands I've ever seen. Amazing bassist through a huge Markbass rig. Thievery Corporation + LCD Soundsystem + Pavement + Trombone Shorty at last year's Virgin Festival made it my favorite show.

Honestly, I'm shocked it took this long for anyone to mention the Musicman SUB. It's easily the closest to Stingray tone I've seen, and I got mine for $400. It's my main bass because I actually prefer the tone/feel to actual Ray's. When I get that Sterling, though... *dreams*

I've always disliked the Neo's tone, honestly. I play through a GK1001RB, and two GK 410RBHs. Sure, they're heavy as hell, but they have MUCH more solid tone. I have never heard any "tinniness" out of them.
