Hello from lubbock TX,and there really ain't many luthers around.

It has gobs of midrange but I turn it all down at my amp,the neck is bad ass but I like a wider neck

Just recently acquired this sick and twisted bass,it is by far the best funk/metal bass ever.any body else out there like theirs?

My t-20 is about 12 pounds but my rbx4 a-2 is only 7 pounds,both arnt really shoulder crippling but if I haven't played FL in a while my left hand is cramped up to beat all hell,lol

Also,I need some advice,does anyone have a piping noise when they touch the front pickup of their j-bass?

I am the happy owner of a rbx4 a2,I love the sound and tone I just am going to have the frets worked on.

I went ahead and traded my millinium five for it,and I'm am very happy with the bass overall,it has great harmonics,my truss rod hasn't needed to be adjusted(yet) ,the neck feels great but I'm not happy at all with the fret ends,however my luthier here in town is crowning and dressing the frets...

It really freaked me out on my peavey t-20 FL,it has the muah to die for lol

I wouldn't try pickups without a bridge swap,of all the times I swapped pickups it never changed much,but when I swapped bridges it would amaze me,I prefer my ksm bridge which I found for 75 online,and the only reason I tried an aluminum bridge was cause my RBX4-A2

How do you tell a pt from an indonesian built bass?

What did the cyanoacrylate do to the fretboard,is it like the marine epoxy?I love the pressurewounds but I would like to take protective measures on my fretless

I use a SWR workingman 12 and no bass amp could compare to the versatility of it,however if I could find a redhead I might retire it but it would still save it in my arsenal.

Lol,I don't have a badass bridge,however I have a fretless that the stock bridge is ok but not sufficient to what I want,I'm just wanting to buy the bridge and drop it off to a luthier and have the whole thing done once and it'll probably never leave my house again lol

I havent used any wall mart oil lol,I just mean if there are any unknown tricks that anyone uses

Hat is the best oil to use on a fretboard,is the guitar oil best?or should I buy some oil that is at wall mart that works better in most cases,also my bass is fretless.

Oh yeah I'm doing the full setup with the new strings,I have been running heavy gauge .110 and these are .106 so I'm sure the neck is going to need a tweak.

No it's not the only bass I've ever owned,I have had a washburn and a fender and played kubickis and I've played a couple of tobias' but I always seem to sell them and keep my peavey,it's the only bass I have now.

With a budget of 60 you have unlimited choices,musicians friend is good but juststrings.com is by far the cheapest you can get strings for,I play a peavey fretless that I use fender flats on however the last me about a week,and then die a painful death,I actually would suggest Ghs,best quality...

I would like to announce that the bass was found,( at a pawn shop none the less)and will be returned on Monday to it's owner,the thief will be charged with felony theft,(more than 500$ in value) and the sad stomper comes to a semi happy ending,thank you all for your willingness to help.

And I almost forgot,the insurance didn't cover anything because you can't find a five string from the fifties,so they denied his claim and actually wanted to charge him on fraud.

I would suggest a Tobias bass indefinitely,as a studio bass it can cover more genres and playing style and tone and are some of the best handbuilt basses ever,my friend Sean has one and I love the sound and weight but the neck is to narrow for my liking
