There seem to be several different hand-styles or techniques for playing Db.....with rockabilly I've seen "plucking" and "open hand slapping" sure that's not the proper names for it?!? Wondered if any sounded similar to electric bass?!?

So I figured the db was being played "au natural" in rockabilly......esp as I couldn't see any leads or amps except guitarists stuff I'd guess) But now ive watched more songs I'm wondering?!? Some db did have an amplified sound plus how do they still sound out over the pretty loud and fast...
