the sanding is a pain, and it is 500 dollars..is the price he is asking.. .. any thoughts on wheter the neck is origional?..my fear is the body is cheap..and just the neck is good.. which then it wouldn't be a good buy really for the bucks!

funny..they are the two basses I am debating getting.. one or the other.. I played both.. but maybe I was playing a bad marcus but it didn't have anything near the zang of the passive p and j 08s.. they were actually louder and much nicer tone..maybe the battery was gone I amn't sure Which do...

to buy in ireland is maybe 1350 to 1400..to buy from the states without shipping is less then 700..savings are just crazy.. being hit for heavy postage AND customs I think I can still buy off ebay.. when they have them back for under 1k..still fantastic savings:)

hmm that could work, music farm, the ebay shop ship internationally but are currently out of fender 08 bass stock.. shock? lol.. by buying off ebay including shipping and full customs I am still saving about 400 yo yos,, which is maybe $650.. thats how massive the difference is. Edit. Oh and...

I seriously can't see how you can justify the extra 400$ for the 62 reissue over the new standard.. may be a bit off topic..but it's bugging me..how can they sell it for so much more.. just because it's a reissue... the hardware and PUs in the standard is actually better!

I am looking to replace the neck on my 80s jazz.. and I was wondering whether to go with Warmoth or one of the ebay companies selling licensed fender replacements (no fender logo on the headstock). anyone any opinon of either and how warmoth compares to fender. I personally love the geddy...
