Matt, I used a clear, adhesive strip thats normally used to protect the wheel arches of your car from stone chips/Road debris etc. Its holding up just fine after 17 months, takes to the finish of the bass really well. Cut it to a circular shape so theres no sharp corner to get pulled up...
