That demo is a really good representation of what this thing actually sounds like. IME, a lot of online sound clips of OD/distortion/fuzz vary from what I hear from the actual pedal. I listened to that demo a bunch before I bought the Gamma, and it gives you a really good idea of what this bad...
I think I've decided that I prefer playing without compressors, so it's time to give the Accountant a new home.

Heavy Electronics El Oso. It covers all the ground between my Barbershop and my Tall Font Russian. It can even get into fuzz territory if you want. It's got a clean blend, but holds the low end even when fully wet. As a bonus, it sounds great when run into my 3Leaf Proton.
Mint Condition Iron Ether Subterranea with velcro on the back. Got it back in September after succumbing to octave Gas while waiting for the release of the 3Leaf Octabvre. Now it's time to move this to free up some cash.
$245 via Paypal, includes CONUS shipping in original box.

Why did you go and do that? Now I go from "liking this bass" to "REALLY liking this bass"
As always, looking forward to seeing your finished product. That wooden PG is killer!
Wilde by Bill Lawrence. Humbucking J PU, and one of the best P Pickups out there. Good price, too. I have a PJ set, and love them.

Yeah, the EB forum members can be a bit, uh, passionate sometimes. They don't like mods for some reason. Guess they really think Leo got it right the third time, haha. ;)
P.S., my Stingray 5 is one of my favorite basses.
Currently have Sadowsky Black Nickel Rounds on my SR5, previously had Daddario XLs and Slinkys. Might try some DRs next, but the Slinkys have been my favorite so far. They really work well on this bass.
Haha great idea! Make it an annual subscription, like a Wine of the Month mail order club. You could be on to something here...Dirt of the Month, haha.
