It may have been, I think I saw that he owned a 4 string Warwick and assumed that he used it to record I&W, but it could be a different bass. :D

Myung recorded the second album, Images and Words with a 4 string warwick, then he signed with Tung basses for the tour. When Tung went down after producing 100 basses he switched to Yamaha. He actually owns at least 3 of the 100 basses made by Tung.

The JS3V is definatelly a good bass for the price, I like it better than the David Ellefson bass.

In the end it all comes down to what type of bass you want. Active/passive, modern/classic looking... and ultimately the one that you fall in love with.

Oh, you definately can! A few months ago there was a USA L2000 for around 700 dollars, cheaper than a new Tribute, really worth it!
