I got another fiver to try yesterday and I immediately tuned it CGDAE which is an up tuning for a fiver. So now I feel like I am cheating on the down tuned club. But I am still in the club because all my fours are tuned CGDA and I will probably always have at least one of them.

Drop D on my Fender Jazz Fretless.
Factory installed drop D on my Peavey Dyna Unity fretless.
Ive asked this question before on TB with no response.
Can you drop D a short scale?
Number please
Seems to me that you aren't up tuning a "low B" fiver, but instead de-tuning a "high C" fiver (except yours is tuned in 5ths, but you get the point).![]()
