    Which multi-modulation to pick

TBH that is exactly what I am looking for. I have a TC chorus that I have been using but am looking for that cheap small alternative for when I need basic chorus or want to stomp on a tremolo. The phaser also has me kind of interested. You feel like its voiced well enough for bass with no tone...

HI HCF did you end up getting the mod 11? I would appreciate any input on that pedal as I am looking for a multimod in a small enclosure like ehx offers! This one good?

That sucks cause I do love the tone of them! Please let me know if you find/think of any that lend themselves to the polyphonic side. Maybe I just need to change my playing style.

    Fuzz Note Tracking

Ill have to look into it more! I usually write that one off just cause 1. its digital 2. usually multi fx pedals are a jack of all trades master of none 3. I just never was a fan of how it looked. But ill give it another listen, not too keen on that one for no reason tbh haha sorry bassbrad

    Fuzz Note Tracking

Surprisingly even with a low volume/gain it will still give that interference loud BEEP tone. Didnt try other basses, I really only have one that functions/I like the playability and tone. Ah sorry I forgot to mention that I run a polytune 3 in front as a buffer because I thought the same...

    Fuzz Note Tracking

Maybe its more of just too much mud? Pretty much I play a low note, but then want to play something high over it while it rings out and its just sounds like glitchy muddy unarticulation. Even with the tone knob fully open.

    Fuzz Note Tracking

My signal chain is just mixer with Russian Muff Reissue and sometimes a noise gate in the loop of the mixer. I have also been having an issue at band practice where the muff will high pitch squeal at band practice with everyone packed together, so i havent really been able to use it in the mix...

    Fuzz Note Tracking

Hi Guys, I am addicted to fuzz like everyone else. Right now I run a passive P bass into a boss ls2 like setup with a green russian reissue with an eq after it. (I play pick, but roll tone down to get that deep bass fuzz) I want to be able to pluck my open E, let it ring and play my other...

Rockboard V10 Iso Power Block VS Iso Brick VS Ciosk DC8

Hi All! Thank you for the quick replies on such an unfun subject. I neglected to say my pedal board is a homemade one that i built into a small suitcase, so I do not have any mounting underneath and the height needs to be maintained to close the suitcase. I like all the love for ciosk and...

Rockboard V10 Iso Power Block VS Iso Brick VS Ciosk DC8

Hi Guys, Its time for me to ditch the daisy chain and get an isolated power supply. However my board is very small can fit like 8 boss sized pedals max and has no underneath storage. For these reasons I'm looking for a small isolated power supply that can power 6/7 9V pedals at 100 mA. It will...

BASS CHORUS + TREMOLO PEDAL IN ONE

Hi guys, I am looking for a two in one chorus and tremolo pedal that works well on bass. I have an old multi FX unit that has both but I want a nice more compact size and no screen. Any recommendation's? I was looking at the EHX mod 11 or maybe it would be a safer bet to try something cheaper...

Looking for that cranked gain tone - tc spark vs pork and pickle

If there is another homie in my position, I definitely recommend the pork and pickle. I love this pedal and always play with it on now. In overdrive, I usually keep drive low and crank the clean tone. The other knobs are at your preference. I havent found a setting I love yet on the fuzz...

Looking for that cranked gain tone - tc spark vs pork and pickle

Ayee thanks @dedpool1052 for the thoughtful response. I'm no stranger to tweaking and opening stuff up to tweak so im not too worried about that! With the spark, im concerned about if it retains low end or if it will need EQ after it to bring the lows out. Also will cranking the gain on the...

Looking for that cranked gain tone - tc spark vs pork and pickle

Hey guys, I currently play a beat up old epiphone accubass through an older fender sidekick 35. Ive been cranking the gain on the amp and love that tone! However I wish I could crank it more than it maxes out. Ive been looking at a tc electronic spark plug, hoping to just crank the clean gain...

Finding A Tube Driven Pedal To Help SS Amp Tone

Wow thanks for the quick reply guys! Which sushi box would you guys recommend? or is it too early to tell? Ive heard some great things on this forum about the night owl, but i think thats a little out of my price range! I might try picking up an ART tube MP and trying a different tube in it...

Finding A Tube Driven Pedal To Help SS Amp Tone

Hi All! I am looking for a pedal that uses a tube to help color my Solid State amp tone a little better. I was in a store trying out fuzz pedals and believe I used a green russian big muff reissue on an eden tube amp. I loved it! (of course) bought the pedal and now am thinking I really loved...

Thoughts on Electroharmonix Operation Overdrive nano w/ expression pedal

Yeah I was just assuming that it would use the same 1/4" jack as an expression pedal, and an expression pedal is just a potentiometer pretty much right? So it would bleed off a little more of that overdrive tone instead of the push button that would just be full open. Does anyone have the pedal...

Thoughts on Electroharmonix Operation Overdrive nano w/ expression pedal

Hi all, I play a passive bass with two jazz pickups. I'm currently building another passive bass with a mini humbucker and a soap bar style looking humbucker I found. Im interested in getting the Operation Overdrive Nano to use for a little more crunch/maybe a little bit of distortion. I like...
