You really put in a lot of work. The finish looks really nice. Mine is modded with a new pickguard and different knobs. Thats all mods my bass needs. Would have been nice with an active/passive switch. But it cannot be retrofitted without changing the preamp. And i won't do that. I really like it!

The maker is called Seven Engineering. The pickups are custom wound large single coils. The P-pickups are a noname in the neck and a Dimarzio in the bridge.

Hi you said a few years back you wished your ATK 810 had a different pickguard. Mine had the pickguard swapped by the original owner. It also had the knobes swapped. I have since changed them.

I just got a used modded Status Barracuda. The preamp and pickups have been changed to noll 3-band preamp with push/pull for passive operation and Bartolini noice cancelling jazzpicks. A ramp made of wood has been glued on.

I put on Harley Benton long scale flats. Worked great! I put the same strings on my headless with status hardware. It too worked great!

I Have I shortscale ibanez EHB1000s. I wonder if I can use long scale strings on it since you cut the string short and don't wind the string. The ball end attaches at the bridge.

I have one of the old ones. I have found the neck is sensitive to the extreme weather changes in my country. It get very cold and dry in the winter and hot and humid in the summer. I wish it had an allenkey adjustment for the thrussrod. I have to keep the special wrench in the gigbag at all times.

Well I wanted to try it out first. I got a cheap Harley Benton. Cut the headstock. After sanding I applied 4 layers of wipe on poly. Then i experimented with making my own decal. Maybe ill put another layer of poly ontop of the logo after I decide to keep it on the bass :)

None. Only cosmetics. I wanted to keep the squier neck as is incase i'll sell it. The new neck has rosewood fingerboard. I did a fretjob on it aswell. It´s ok now. Nothing special, but it looks good.

I cut the headstock and put on wipe on poly. Printed my first decal.

I can't undertand why Bully would nominate a bass purly on looks whithout testing it first. Harley Bentons are a bit hit or miss.

I just got a Yamaha attitude ltd 2. Really like the thick neck on it!

It didn't fit. I had to sand the neck pocket for 5 min with 60 grit sand paper. No problem with intonation.

I haven't noticed any change in sound.

I did it because I liked the shiny looks of the finished gloss on the roasted maple neck. I got it used, but it was new in the box unmounted .

I recently modded my Sire P7 second gen. with a Fender roasted neck and Schaller tuners. I think it looks Great! Sounds Great too. I needed to lightly sand the neck pocket to fit the neck.

Is it possible to deassemble the tuners to clean and regrease them? I found one cheap :)

I wonder what EMG preamp to put in a four knob stingray. I don't want a pan pot and I don't want any unusable pots or empty holes in the bass body.

I recently got a Ray34. I have a Duncan STC-3M3 left from another project. Is it worth it to switch preamps? There is nothing wrong with the stock preamp. Should I just sell the duncan preamp?
