1 Hour Chuck Rainey Lesson?

I'd give Chuck whatever he asked 85 an hour fine. Most young cats would rather learn from other young guys but there is no substitution for experience.

Chuck is one of the founding fathers and cornerstones of the electric bass along with Jamerson and Dunn etc.

IMO It is quite a shame to see someone forget the history and disreguard one of the all time greats.

LONG LIVE OUR HEROES!!!!

God Bless, Ray

Given that Chuck's columns in Guitar Player were always well written, practical, and excellent instruction, given that his bass series is an excellent program for learning to play bass in the real world, and given that he played all the stuff he did (yes, "Rock Steady" is him, along with a bunch of other Aretha, later Steely Dan, etc.), then $85/hour is a bargain. And based on what I've seen of his instructional material, I think he'd give you enough to keep you busy for a long time in one hour.

How much does it cost to buy a ticket (after the ticket, "facility fees", parking, Ticketron fees, etc.) to go see a Willie Weeks on tour? What's that break down to for an hour? And what do you learn?
